About us
So Tissus was created with the aim of making French haute couture fabrics accessible to everyone. We destock end-of-line fabrics as well as unused fabrics from major couture and high-end ready-to-wear houses. Through this approach, we help reduce waste by recycling fabrics that would otherwise have been destroyed by the major firms in this industry, and we meet your strong demand for rare and exceptional quality fabrics. Working with many major houses, it is difficult for us to do restocking, but do not hesitate to contact us for any special request, we will do everything to satisfy it.
With extensive experience in the textile industry: retail, wholesale, supporting fashion students, working with designers. We try to meet your expectations by offering a selection of exceptional materials allowing you to create pieces worthy of the greatest French luxury brands.
From father to son in the haute couture textile industry, we have built exclusive relationships with a large number of French luxury brands. This exceptional sourcing has been built over nearly 30 years. Unfortunately, we cannot currently name them (agreements in progress). These relationships allow us to present you with rare quality fabrics at very affordable prices.
Today there is an awareness about clothing consumption pushing fashion to become more sustainable and responsible. The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world as it uses enormous amounts of water and chemicals.
At a time when all major polluting industries are making the ecological turn, the luxury industry is lagging behind. This is where upcycling is one of the ecological solutions to reduce waste and the use of chemicals, as well as avoiding burning unused stocks. Upcycling is simply giving value to something that no longer had any, that is to say, giving a second life to our haute couture fabrics.
